“Hand on heart would recommend Lukas as a mentor and to do your first jump course with him. I was personally a little nervous about starting Base but Lukas ensured that I felt confident on every jump and as I progressed through the different stages. His calm, collected, confident mentality together with his expertise and genuine joy in sharing his knowledge and passion with us made this course an incredibly enriching experience that I wouldn’t want to miss. Facing your fears, learning to manage them, experiencing progress in a new sport is a hugely rewarding journey and I absolutely recommend you let Lukas be your guide into the BASE jump world” - Melanie Gründwald

“I would recommend Lukas to everybody who wants to start safely and well-managed into the sport of BASE jumping. He is aware of the risks and teaches you all you need to know and even more. A special plus is, he is mentoring you life-long. I was happy to have his recommendations and thoughts to jumps I was unsure about little things. Also i am looking forward to have some more jumps with him and his beginners in the next courses. Although it’s still always a challenge to manage the mind before leaving the edge, it is a journey of growing confidence in yourself and in how to manage fear without getting hurt. Big thanks to Lukas for all his knowledge and helpful advices throughout all my jumping activities!” - David Ohde

“10/10 course.
I did both the First Base Jump and Wingsuit Base course with Lukas and I can absolutely recommend it for people that want to get into any of these sports safely.
His courses contain: Safety briefings, jumping techniques, psychological points, exit openings, weather aspects and so many more... Basically everything you need.
Luke lives and breathes basejumping and is fulltime engaged in this sport since he started.
Therefore he brings the knowledge, coaching skills and also a good portion of fun to make his courses an absolute no-brainer, in case you want to progress in basejumping, no matter if you are a beginner, advanced or a pro (and the prize is more than fair for what you get).
He's one of the most humble personalities i've seen. No big ego or arrogant behaviour, just a really cool nice guy that always helps you when you need it.
When you are a student with Luke, you are a student for life. Whenever i had a question about an exit or a jumping idea after the course, i could always ask him and he immediately gave me clear and objective feedback.
I've seen multiple pro athletes in this sport asking him for advice, so you can be assured you are in good hands when getting a coaching from him!

“I had an amazing time doing a wingsuit coaching session with Lukas! The focus was on flying close to terrain, and thanks to his coaching, I felt more confident and in control with every jump. Lukas really takes care of his students—he pays attention to everyone’s needs, breaks things down clearly, and makes sure you understand what’s going on.
After each jump, we went through the data in detail, and his feedback was super valuable. The way he explained things made a huge difference, and I was able to apply his tips right away. I also really appreciated that he took the time the evening before to go through the theory with us.
On top of all that, Lukas is just insanely tough—we call him a mountain goat for a reason! He’s always ready to go, no matter how demanding things get. The coaching is very hands-on and practical, and the pricing is absolutely fair for what you get.
If you want top-notch wingsuit coaching, Lukas is the guy to go to!” - Tobias

“I did the FJC in April 24.
Those were the 2 most intensive weeks of my life, but also the best. So many impressions and learned so much new.
It was clear to me that if I was going to start with base, it would be with Luke. I've known him since he did the aff course with us at the dropzone.
After the 2 weeks in the course, I had done almost 50 base jumps. No matter when and where I have a question about jumping, I can contact him at any time and he is always willing to listen to me and tries to help me.” - Jurgen Grimmen
-
“Just a great time, lots of jumps and lots of information about jumping. And then round off the evenings with a dinner together .
It is especially nice with the small groups because you can be sure that you get and understand everything.
I would do the course again at any time.” - Jonas Krause

“It was a very interesting course. I learned a lot about different flight technics above terrain, how to laser correctly terrain and other things.
When you have already some experience I can definitely recommend the course to understand to fly better your Wingsuit in the base environment.” - Yannick Le.S

“I got Lukas' contact from a friend. Initially, I wasn't sure if I wanted to take the base course with Lukas because I had heard that he had only done one full base course himself and had only been in the sport for three years that time.
But since friends knew him and his Instagram page looked promising, I decided to take the course with Lukas.
When Lukas already gave me tips before the course and helped me find a rig and a suitable tracksuit, I knew I was in good hands.
When I met Lukas, I was sure that it was the right decision to take the course with him. Although he had only been in the sport for three years, he had already done over a thousand jumps, and you could tell that he truly lives the sport.
During the two weeks, I was repeatedly amazed at how someone so young and only in the sport for three years could know so much and convey his knowledge so well.
I thought we would be jumping from a bridge in Croatia for one week and from Brento for the second week. That was true, but we also got the opportunity to jump from many other exits near the bridge and from Brento. If the weather allowed, Lukas jumped with us all day. Even if only one person in the group was still motivated to jump, Lukas took the time to jump with them while the others took a break. So with Lukas, you have the choice of whether you want a relaxed two weeks or two weeks of a lot of jumping and little sleep 😉
During the two weeks, you learn the most important things about weather, packing, various techniques, and measuring possible exits. After the two weeks, you'll be able to decide for yourself whether the weather and the exit are right.
After the two weeks, the course ended, but shortly after our course, I was able to jump my first building with Lukas, completing all four types of objects in my first month. To this day, Lukas still takes the time to answer my questions and jumps with me on new exits.
I can only recommend to anyone thinking about starting base jumping to take the course with Lukas. You learn everything you need to know to practice this sport as safely as possible.”

“Lukas provided a highly professional FJC. The focus of his course was equally on the basics and safety, as well as on providing us with a wide variety of exits and jumps. He pushed us throughout the entire course, while still ensuring we were prepared for each and every jump. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience, learning from one of the best the sport has to offer.”

“I got to know Luki when I was a beginner base jumper, and because we don’t live far apart in Austria, we became good friends pretty quickly. Since then, we’ve shared many jumps and base trips together, and he has always helped me out. It didn’t matter what the topic was (packing, slider-down jumps, wingsuiting, exit details, etc.); he was always listening and offering advice to help me improve. I can’t even remember how many times I’ve sent him videos of my exits when I started wingsuiting, and he always took the time to analyze them and give me small details to work on. He is addicted to the sport of base jumping and does it with all his heart. It’s not a hobby; it’s his life. Looking forward to many more missions together! Always a great time with you, broey!”

“First of all, I just want to say that Lukas is an incredible person! You’ll have so much fun with him, and you’ll never be bored. 😀
When it comes to coaching, I’m amazed at how he notices even the smallest mistakes and the tiniest adjustments you need to make while flying. He truly helps you follow and achieve your dreams in the safest way possible. Lukas is one of the most goal-driven people I know. There will be some tough days, but that’s because he pushes you in a safe and constructive way to help you gain more knowledge and improve your skills.
Looking back, I never regret any of the days I spent learning from him. Those were some of the best days of my life. Without Lukas, I wouldn’t be where I am today, living the dream I’ve always had.
I’d give him 11 out of 10. You can reach out to him anytime—he always responds quickly!
A huge thank you to you, Lukas!”

“Lukas was my mentor in the summer of 2023 and shaped my base jumping journey in a way I never thought possible. He is not only an outstanding teacher but also an incredibly inspiring personality. By now, he’s much more to me than just a coach – he’s become a really good friend.
What makes Lukas special is his boundless passion for this sport and his extraordinary commitment to his students. He’s always available, providing support with exits, technique, mental strength, and everything that goes with it. And the best part: Even months and years after the course, he still takes the time to answer questions and always prioritizes safety above all else.
Even though during training it sometimes felt like he wanted to kill me (inside joke 😉), I trust him more than almost anyone when it comes to safety – and in base jumping, safety is probably the most important thing. He has not only elevated me technically but also mentally.
Our course started in Croatia and took us to the legendary Monte Brento. The time we spent together was intense, educational, and full of unforgettable moments. We didn’t just have an incredible amount of fun; we grew together as a team and shared moments that will stay with us forever.
If you're looking for someone who will not only train you in base jumping but also take you to a deeper level, Lukas is the best choice!”

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW THE FIRST JUMP COURSE IS, HERE I LEAVE YOU A DETAILED REVIEW FROM DANIEL KLEBER
When I first assigned for the course I didn’t know what to expect. A friend who knew Lukas very well recommended it to me and I figured I would give it a go.
I didn’t know much about Basejumping at the time. I just knew that it was my dream to Wingsuit Base one day. I reached out to Lukas and he confirmed that there is still a free spot for the upcoming course. He helped me to buy my first base rig and canopy and gave me all the details for the course as well as the preparation for it. I had to do at least 40 pack jobs on my own using a video that Lukas gave me. I also had to read the Book of base and the Base Fatality List.
I was able to ask him questions about the course and general questions about basejumping. He always took his time to respond in detail. Keep in mind I only knew Lukas from Instagram and WhatsApp at the time. I saw all his videos on Instagram and thought that this guy must be an energy loaded adrenalin junky that likes to bend the boundaries of Basejumping.
When I met Lukas on the first day of the course I was quite surprised, because he was actually quite the opposite of what I expected him to be. Such a calm and relaxed guy. He has this positive vibe that immediately gets you into a good mood, even in the scariest situations. He is very calculated and precautious. He takes his time to explain everything in detail and answer all questions you have. That changed my perception of him immediately and the nervousness I felt prior to the course just vanished. He isn’t an adrenalin junky, instead he is a very calculated professional that loves to fly and knows what the fuck he’s doing.
In the first two days we learned all the theory that is necessary in order to jump safely. We learned everything about the gear - how to use it, how it’s built and how to maintain it. We learned the difference between jumping techniques like slider up, slider down, stowed, hand held, static line, etc. We learned how to evaluate weather and jumping sites. We learned about mistakes that can happen in base jumping and also watched a lot of footage of things going wrong.
Lukas also made sure that every single one of us is able to pack his parachute perfectly. He showed us the best packing technique and even taught us how to pack without clamps.
After all the theory lessons, we did some physical exercises like practicing how to untwist ourselves in a harness. And the day before our first jumps we practiced how to properly perform a jump using a bungee rope on a mockup. Lukas made sure that everybody had it 100% right, before giving us the ok for the first jumps.
In the following 5 days we performed our first jumps. It can be compared to leveling up in the AFF course. You start by doing the easiest technique and if you perform well, you can move on to the next technique. We started by doing PCAs and Static Line jumps, proceeded to hand held and then to stowed. Even unpacked jumps were on the agenda. We also had to perform target landings and 180 maneuvers to practice avoiding cliff strikes. We did around 30 jumps off the bridge before moving on to other objects. During the last couple of days in Croatia we also did an antenna, a building and a slider down cliff.
The time in Croatia was just great. We had a lot of fun learning theory, doing our first jumps and always ate in really nice restaurants every evening. Lukas even organized a massage for us on one of the last days. We all became very good friends during that time and developed a very unique group dynamic.
After that it was time for Brento. We drove all the way from Croatia to Italy and had dinner together while discussing the plan for the next days. We repeated the theory for terminal jumps before learning how to pack slider up. After that we were ready for the first jumps from Brento.
The days in Italy were structured like follows. We did two terminal jumps of Brento in the morning. After each jump, we watched the videos and Lukas gave us direct feedback. Afterwards we had a couple hours to chill, have lunch, drive around Italy and have a swim in one of the lakes nearby. In the evening the group met again and we did one or two slider down cliffs that were in the area. This continued for 6 days and at the end everybody was well experienced in slider down and slider up jumping. We all learned how to fly two piece tracksuits (which are obligatory for the course).
Looking back at those two weeks I have to say it was the best time of my life so far. Learning how to base jump is something so special and it is very important to have a mentor who is empathetic, calm and patient. Lukas has all of these qualities. And in addition he is also one of the nicest people I have ever met. A pure soul that found his purpose in teaching other humans how to fly.
After the course I was able to open exits on my own. Now it has been 10 months since the course and I already opened around 20 exits in my area.
Even after the course Lukas is still keeping close contact and answers all questions I have related to BASE jumping. I can reach out to him whenever I need information and he always takes his time to answer my calls or messages. He even gave me the pins for a lot of exits in my area so I have something to jump.
If you want to learn how to BASE jump in a safe and fun way, I deeply recommend you the Base Jumpers Without Borders course, lead by Lukas Loibl.
You will become a base jumper that is able to evaluate sites, take care of his own equipment, open exits and perform well in flying suits. You will have all necessary knowledge to perform slider down and slider up jumps for all types of objects.
